I'll admit it. When I saw the headline I automatically assumed that it was another athlete who had gambled away his money or spent it on multiple houses and cars.

As much as we can appreciate his efforts in Detroit it should still be mentioned that it speaks to a wider problem that these guys become so rich at such a young age but really have no sense of how to protect the money or make wise decisions.
